These Bernedoodles are going to be 35-45lbs on average. They have a variety of colors including sable, tri-color and phantom. We expect them to be highly human focused, playful and loving like their parents. We will do puppy selection when they have had their vet visit and temperament test at seven weeks old. You get to pick your puppy in the order of when you placed your deposit, we currently have pick #5 available (meaning you would have 7 puppies to pick from). They don't go home until they are 8 weeks old or older. Our Bernedoodles are 50/50 Bernese Mountain Dog and Standard Poodle.

A few of the puppies will be unfurnished meaning they will have fur like the Bernese Mountain Dog. 75% of the litter will be furnished meaning they will be low to non-shedding and have higher maintenance hair - haircuts every 6-8 weeks! The plus side to their hair will be much more allergy friendly and not having a house/car covered in dog hair.
If allergies are not a concern then a little hair clean up is not a bad option if you know it will be tough to keep up on daily brushing and higher grooming needs. Whichever option you choose, Bernedoodles are amazing dogs. Crossing them with a Poodle will increase their life span from the 5-8 year average life expectancy to 10-15 year life expectancy. While many things like lifestyle and diet come into play, we want our genetics to give you the best chance of your pup having a long and healthy life.
